A BIT ABOUT ALLISON WILLIAMSON
The Full Story
Growing up, I found ways to express myself through storytelling. Between using stuffed animals as puppets and writing my first short stories, I practiced the various ways to tell a story to engage my audience effectively.
During my college career, I translated this ability to become a professional writer. I landed coverage in print and digital media outlets, including Cooglife and The Cougar. I have an article featured in the 2019 edition of Transitions, the magazine for University of Houston first-year students, and her blog work can be found at BYOD Cities. “Behind the Leash” was a journalism project to sharpen her multimedia skills. Every project taught me to develop my literary style and voice, approaching every challenge as an experience to grow and develop as a writer.
As a content creator, I utilized my writing skills to generate engaging captions for BYOD Cities' platforms, and currently, I work with Cram Crew to build their social media presence. Through this line of work, I’m trained in social media analytics, search engine optimization, and market research.
That’s why, in addition to the projects I completed, I also seek out new types of endeavors I have yet to encounter.
